Last week, K’S PATH staff took delivery of 42 dog traps, 10 cat traps, animal carriers, specialized poles and nets which will be used for the program.
John Peaveler, Managing Director of K’S PATH says, “I have had several years of experience in capturing stray animals. I have done extensive research, studied many animal control programs from all over the world and as a result have found the best equipment available on the market. We want to make sure we use the most effective and very importantly, the most humane methods to trap these animals which have already endured so much hardship by the time we find them”.
K’S PATH continues to praise the commitment from KOC to the project. John says, “The problem of stray animals all over Kuwait is increasing. KOC have addressed the issue in a very pragmatic and effective way. The previous method wasn’t working, and so management have made the right decision by approaching us for a solution.”
The problem is still a long way from being over, but staff and volunteers at K’S PATH in conjunction with KOC are working relentlessly to make sure it will be.
