Our eagles finally have a new place to call home.  After spending several months in a large but inadequate pigeon enclosure, K'S PATH finally scrapped together the money to make them a new home.  The first of two new raptor flights, their new home is equipped with natural wood ladders that access every part of the flight so that our one-wing amputee eagle can climb up to the perches.

K'S PATH Deploys to Haiti

The Kuwait Society for the Protection of Animals and Their Habitat has deployed its Managing Direction, John Peaveler, in response to the January 12th earthquake that devastated the island nation of Haiti.  Mr. Peaveler was deployed as a first responder with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals International (SPCAI), the organization made famous for it’s Operation Baghdad Pups program (www.spcai.org).

Baboon Christmas 09

A crowd looks on as a baboon opens her Christmas present.

December 24th was Christmas for the animals at K'S PATH.  Volunteers started arriving around 10am to watch the baboons open their presents and to walk the donkeys and the dogs.  Special thanks goes to Areej Al-Sultan and Reem Al-Nouri for packing and wrapping special gifts for the baboons.
